... my wife and I were lucky to know the right people, who know the best people, and thus we were included in an Adventure Dolomite group tour in 2019. This was our first ever 'guided travel tour'.  Previously we always made our own arrangements, and now I see that traveling with knowledgeable guides, cheerful leaders, comaraderie, and having all the organization done for us truly makes it a vacation.  Sigi's boundless enthusiasm and encouragement, along with Manfred and Renata,  lead us through activities that were personal challenges, but easily done.   The feeling of accomplishment and growth was both rewarding and a lesson in just what each of us could do if we wanted to.  And golly do we want to do it again.  This time though, more 'Via Ferratas' (don't look down), and cycling in some of the prettiest and awe inspiring lands I've ever seen.... and that compares to backpacking in the West Coast Nat'l Parks.   The accommodations were over-the-top, the food was amazing, the group conversations and friendships expanding, and behind it all was the Sorcerer Sigi.  Like a magician, Sigi changed my life and my expectations of self.  And that is what true friends do .....

I've been on several trips with Adventure Dolomiti and Sigi Vogl and they consistently rank as the best trips I have had. Sigi is excellent of creating the right mix of outdoor activities and adventures, historic sights and learning opportunities, and food for recharging and relaxing.

Sigi is excellent at understanding what the people in our group were looking for, then bringing it all together so that everyone is pleased with the experieince. Our group had widely varying abilities for the outdoor activities. We would break up during the day, but somehow Sigi and the guides would be able to bring everyone back together, so that we could talk about the amazing things we did and saw that day. It was awesome!

The South Tyrol is a very special place. Coming from the US I was not really aware of how beautiful this corner of the world is nor how well it is set up for recreational activities. There's nothing like getting tired and hungry on a hike, then rounding a corner and finding a refugio ready with food and drink that is often perched on the side of a mountain with fantastic views!

Sigi's lifetime of ski touring and experience as a guide and avalanche forecaster have given him an uncanny ability to find good snow. He can find it long after everyone else has simply stopped looking.

Cat in the Hat says "It's fun to have fun, but you have to know how." Sigi knows how!

Being with Sigi and his two local guides in the Dolomites ranks as one of the most spectacular trips of our lives!

We were a group of 8 with very diverse climbing level experience.  All the guides went out of their way to make sure we were all comfortable and yet challenged, no matter our ability level.

Every day was filled with amazing vistas, incredible food and local festivities.  Experiencing the Via Ferrata was a major highlight.

We would definitely book another trip with Adventure Dolomiti and recommend them without reservation!  Thank you to all who made this trip so memorable!

Both trips we’ve done with Adventure Dolomiti (summer hiking/via ferrata & winter backcountry skiing) genuinely exceeded all our expectations!

Sigi and his team have a long history & many contacts in the region which combine to deliver a fantastic, customized outdoor adventure, regardless of one’s experience in the backcountry.

We stayed in comfortable accommodations that were friendly and family-run and dined on the wonderful food and drink of northern Italy.  Sigi pulls it all together with his energy, flexibility, and experience.  We love being a part of these trips!
