I’ve been on several trips with Adventure Dolomiti and Sigi Vogl and they consistently rank as the best trips I have had. Sigi is excellent of creating the right mix of outdoor activities and adventures, historic sights and learning opportunities, and food for recharging and relaxing.
Sigi is excellent at understanding what the people in our group were looking for, then bringing it all together so that everyone is pleased with the experieince. Our group had widely varying abilities for the outdoor activities. We would break up during the day, but somehow Sigi and the guides would be able to bring everyone back together, so that we could talk about the amazing things we did and saw that day. It was awesome!
The South Tyrol is a very special place. Coming from the US I was not really aware of how beautiful this corner of the world is nor how well it is set up for recreational activities. There’s nothing like getting tired and hungry on a hike, then rounding a corner and finding a refugio ready with food and drink that is often perched on the side of a mountain with fantastic views!
Sigi’s lifetime of ski touring and experience as a guide and avalanche forecaster have given him an uncanny ability to find good snow. He can find it long after everyone else has simply stopped looking.
Cat in the Hat says “It’s fun to have fun, but you have to know how.” Sigi knows how!
