One of Europe's most spectacular settings is the Dolomites, where enormous rock spires soar dreamlike above enchanting valleys and villages. Our exhilarating journey begins in the quaint village of Villabassa/Niederdorf centrally located in the Hoch Pustertal valley boardering Austria. Our charming 4-star, family owned hotel accommodation has been on this site for over 400 years and features the most comfortable beds in the world, along with authentic South Tyrol Cuisine and a beautiful wellness center.
For the next 5 days we will explore this spectacular region including the Drei Zinnen one of the most famous and most remarkable summits in the Dolomites, your choice: hiking, biking, via ferrata or all three. Pustertal is an east-west valley traveled long ago by the Roman empire and is lined with charming villages, castles, wineries, local cheese producers, bike trails, museums, hiking trails, wonderful mountain rifugios and a scenic electric train running up and down the valley. There is even a fantastic bike ride that one can do on an old railway bed from the village of Dobbiaco to Cortina.

The Second part of this adventure and next 5 days will take us into the heart of the Dolomites, the spectacular region of Val Gardena. The Val Gardena valley is famous for its woodcarvings, international ski events, climbing, biking and charming villages of Selva Gardena, Santa Christina and Ortisei. The region offers extensive trails for hiking, mountain biking, summer/winter lifts, many famous via ferrata's, mountain huts and the highest protected mountain meadow in the entire Alps, Seiser Alm.
Our 4-star family run hotel is a 5-minute walk from the pedestrian zone of Ortisei. One can access hiking and bike trails from the hotel, stunning Dolomite peaks surround the valley dominated by 10,436 Sassolungo the highest peak of the Langkofel group.
Along with all of the activities available, time will be planned to visit nearby Bolzano to visit the famous "Ötzi, the Iceman" museum as well as Reinhold Messner's Museum and private residence, Juval Castle.
