Sesto has been unbelievable. The mountains, the people, the food, the weather, the Berghotel and the Mtn biking have all exceeded our expectations.

We were told it was beautiful, but descriptions fall short. We rode to Lienz in Austria yesterday and returned to San Candido by train. Today, we rode to Cortina from Diabocca-absolutely breathtaking! Great guide from Bike Academy named Caroline on our ride to Cortina, for future reference.

Thanks to Adventure Dolomiti for putting the Dolomites on our radar.  With their local knowledge we had a family vacation to remember;  if the climbing, biking and hiking wasn’t memorable enough, the food and people at Hotel Ladinia made it unforgettable.

Both trips we’ve done with Adventure Dolomiti (summer hiking/via ferrata & winter backcountry skiing) genuinely exceeded all our expectations!

Sigi and his team have a long history & many contacts in the region which combine to deliver a fantastic, customized outdoor adventure, regardless of one’s experience in the backcountry.

We stayed in comfortable accommodations that were friendly and family-run and dined on the wonderful food and drink of northern Italy.

This is a great trip – just don’t take the helicopter ride!! Truly spectacular scenery, the best guides, and LOTS of fun! The hotel is amazing!!!
