A group of 11 of us from Sun Valley, Idaho went on this trip last fall and had the most magical time. We were treated like family at the Ladinia Hotel in La Villa, It is a lovely Austrian Chalet Hotel with delicious food and superb service. There was a fully appointed spa on the premises available to all. Beside Sigi and Muffy, the owners of this company, there were 2 certified local guides who became good friends to us by the end of the trip.

We started from different trailheads each morning and then were picked up sometimes in a different village. It would be very difficult to experience this area on your own and surly not as much fun. The 2 rifugio stays were a unique and wonderful experiences to spend the 2 nights on top of these mountains. The ferratas were also unique experiences with guides that you felt you were very safe with. You had the choice to get to the rifugios via ferrata or not.

The hiking was very tailored to our particular group as it could be to your group. We also had a couple of “long” mt. lunches complete with the appertifes of the region. We loved this Ladine area for its beauty, charming, funny people and all its history. This trip is not to be missed.
